Some questions about xICN and AA

Can I reserve my DONE3 xICN with the AA RTW USA desk? Alternatively, how do I make the DONE3 reservation?

Can I have a friend in Seoul pick up and pay for the ticket[s]?

Can I just reserve the skeleton of the trip (i.e. open dates)? Who would I call later to add dates?

Any help or ideas would be appreciated...this is what I am thinking so far:

There has been discussion on the RTW tickets, you shouls look at those for some good info, especially out of S. Korea.

Starting a DONE3 in asia allows for only 2 stopovers in asia, you have what looks like 3 stopovers, plus there is no OneWorld flight between DPS and SIN, adding to the number of segments.

Leaving the USA and returning is fine, just so long as it is within North America.

It's likely AA's GSA in Korea will only issue it as an e-ticket, so if your friend pays for it there's no "picking up" to be done.

Open dates will probably require paper tickets, and the GSA may not want to do those. Instead, the standard approach is to put dummy dates into the itinerary, then change them at no charge later.

Perhaps the DPS-SIN segment is a surface one. And perhaps the DPS-SIN-LHR and ORD-NRT-ICN are transits w/o stopovers. AA tariffs will pick it up when the segments are dated.
