RTW itinerary questions

Hi, I've just been using Mileage Monkey to check out an itinerary and there are some errors coming up which I don't understand. I would be grateful to get your comments. The following routings are causing errors:

NAN-SYD: No OW service exists (but Qantas flys and the routes are both in the timetable downloaded from the web plus it shows up on the OW interactive map.

HKG-DAC: Error same as above - whilst I havnt checked out the carrier - the route is included in the OW timetable and is also ok on the interactive map.

HNL-NAN: Error and comment same as for the above routing.

Finally - it is also telling me that I havnt crossed the pacific - but I think I have as I go LHR-JFK-ORD-HNL-SYD-NAN

Keen to know your thoughts and whether my routings are really problemmatic?

Thanks

Your questions are better on a new thread, as they are not MM related. You need to read the xONEx rules linked in the sticky above and on www.oneworld.com

NAN-SYD is not valid for xONEx. Its a QF code share. Valid xONEx segments need to be operated by a oneworld carrier. Just because its in the timetable does not mean it a valid xONEx flight

Some Dragonair flighs missed.

Welcome to FT.
HKG-DAC is operated by KA.
Some Dragonair flights are missed.
I have requested information update in the Validator thread.

Also, ORD-HNL is being canceled by AA, so could be JFK-DFW/SFO/LAX - HNL...

Welcome to FT, flying home!

The oneworld map is showing SYD-NAN and NAN-LAX (!) as operated both by a oneworld carrier and as a codeshare. The map is wrong in both cases.

There is no oneworld carrier flying to Fiji at all. You can not get there on a oneworld Explorer ticket. You need to get a Global Explorer ticket which would allow you to do this routing.

HNL-NAN only shows as a codeshare on the map and not as a operated by oneworld.

Again, this routing doesn't work with a oneworld Explorer ticket.

Ok - thanks everyone - thought I'd found a single flight on the timetable that was qantas link - but even if it is -you are all right in that Qantas fiji will only sell me a global explorer. (Mind you, I now hear I should be ticketing with AA...onwards and upwards - its a steep learning curve....)

Glad I can do the Dragonair leg though.
