Record Locators OW Explorer Tickets
 

First time posting, thanks in advance for your help! My husband and I just booked our OWE tickets leaving from LHR in February of 2009 with the 20 segments. A friend bought them for us so we could leave from LHR and had to use 2 different credit cards to pay for both of our tickets. Now we have two different record locators, one for each of us. Will this be a problem while we are traveling? What kind of potential problems does this create for us as we are no longer on the same record together but now are two "separate" people?

Which airline are you ticketted through? Are your itineraries identical?

Contact the airline which is handling your booking (if using a TA, then the TA will be able to do this for you) and get them to stick in an SSR or an OCI (they will know what you are talking about if you use those terms), along with a TCP - this will link your bookings together.

Thank you! We will give them a call. Booked with AA and we have the exact same itinerary for both tickets.

... and make sure that when you telephone to change any dates in the future that it is done for both parties. You should have no problems but just in case!
