waitlisting for codeshare possible?
 
I'm on QF HNL-SYD 5/4 and was wondering if it is possible to ask AA if I can waitlist for an L seat on the same flight only with an AA flt #

has anyone ever done this?

I haven't done this but there is no reason why you can't waitlist other than the waitlist being closed.

I've tried but no, can't waitlist on the AA codeshare.
