Updated source for xONEx prices by starting location?
All of the price lists I've been able to find for xONExs on FlyerTalk and elsewhere are at least a year or two old. Is there a recent (last few months) version out there, or some other way of finding out prices by starting location?
I'm buying a LONE5 for a trip I'll be starting in Australia. But I could easily use points to get me to a starting location in East Asia, and go from there. I would want to go from somewhere in Southeast/Northeast Asia though, not say Sri Lanka or India, because I can't afford to waste a segment -- I need all 20 of them! I'll be going to a number of places in Southeast Asia and China/Japan, so are starting point somewhere in those areas wouldn't waste a segment. Thank you very much! |
The oneworld website now produces this info (in local currency).

In any case, the fares differences for LONE* tickets are not that signficant |

20 segments *ONE* must be ticketed before end of May. 16 segments after that |
See this thread for SWP LONEs.
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=817554 I am using the last version of the WearyBiz spreadsheet and have manually updateed SWP locations recently. Australia is cheap for LONEs. NZ might be slightly cheaper but it would cost you the difference just to get there |

As it happens, I have just updated my RTW fares spreadsheet. Corrections and comments are welcome.

WearyBiz,
Japan DONE4 should be Yen 780400 (OW website is wrong) Sri Lanka needs to be fully updated (now much more expensive) AONEx LKR 1150400 1274000 1436500 1623100 DONEx LKR 674100 768600 883800 1006500 LONEx LKR 303200 361800 416300 479900 Other that have moved: Australia, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia... Am wondering if my server is caching your old spreadsheet (pulling 1.9.9c - OW data updated 10 Feb 07) |
Nice to see my nice and cheap Korea price up near the top, makes me feel oh so nice now that I've purchased the ticket. And thanks to the various folks who helped me with some of the questions I had(ended up call the AA rtw desk, and they were great, got me all set up, including where I could easily go in Seoul to pay for the ticket).

moa999, you should be getting version 2.0, updated 25 April 2008. It may indeed be a caching issue. If the normal link does not work, try http://qsi.cc/users/wbt/RTWFares2.0.xls. That should get you direct access to the latest file.

First of all thanks for all the hard work.. I am pleased to learn that MRU is still available at the prices listed. I was going to begin a AONE5 from JNB or CPT and will now reconsider...

I am also looking to buy an AONE5. I looked at the fares displayed on
the oneworld website to compare Mauritius with South Africa. For Mauritius i find MUR 215000, which is according to www.xe.com eur 5352.33 today and for South Africa ZAR 66000, which is eur 5609.85. How come the spreadsheet shows eur 4179 ex Mauritius? I opted for South Africa as there is the AA office (less surcharges) and also because i thought the service charge is much lower in South Africa. So this would even out with Mauritius. But if anyone can confirm to me that the spreadsheet is correct for MRU, i will call them right now!!! |

It looks like the spreadsheet is incorrect; ExpertFlyer shows AONE5 ex-MRU as 5333 EUR.
