oneworld explorer rules pdf
Not exactly earth-shattering news but a little change with a positive side: the rules pdf can now be accessed through a permanent (not date specific) link:
http://www.oneworld.com/content/libr...rule_sheet.pdf The rules look unchanged to me, except perhaps for some minor formatting changes, but I haven't checked closely so I am not sure about that. |
Thanks.
The only change I could see (from quick scan) is some countries have been removed from the list of far europe countries to/from UK (BMED destinations plus some of the Balkans). |
The only trouble with undated files and links is that it is not easy to spot any changes in the future. Even the actual PDF doesn't have a date.
|
Hence why I go back regular and save the latest version with a new name ;)

It does have a date. If you look in the document's properties you can find that the current document (as at 6 March 2008) was created on 3rd March 2008 at approx 11:30 am.

Very good point. Didn't think about that. The document I downloaded on 5 March was dated 4 March 6.30 am. Maybe this is the same time as yours but at a different time zone.
For the geeks out there: To find the date/time/timezone in Adobe go to File --> Document Properties... --> Description Tab --> [Additional Metadata] button --> Advanced (in left column) --> [+] PDF Properties. Look at ModDate/CreatedDate. Amazing what sort of information you can find if you dig very deep! :-) Regards, James |

Yes, it seems Adobe translates the date/time to your local timezone. Foxit (a different PDF reader) just shows the date/time in the document's timezone -- i.e. date 2008-03-03 time 11:31:58 timezone -0800.

Or right-click Properties, in File Explorer, without opening the PDF.
Nice try though. :) Regards, James |

Had you bothered to test the above, you wound find it will report the date/time the file was downloaded. So it is not a valid method of finding the creation date/time of the PDF.
Nice try though. :) Regards, James |

And if you bother to install the current version of Adobe Reader you will see that File Explorer Properties contains a tab with the PDF internal details.
