DONE4 expiring can I extend?
Hello,
I have a DONE4 and it is going to expire in 3 months and I still have the last leg back from Singapore to London to Paris. I don't need it yet in the next 3 months. It is a business class fare. Any suggestions? thanks. Daniel |
If you don't need it and don't fly it, then it will lapse; you cannot extend beyond 1 year validity

Excuse my ignorance, but what is DONE4?

See the sticky in the One World forum for more information. |

It's a type of round the world ticket. For more information, have a look in the OneWorld forum or do a search. Actually, you should have done a search anyway - DONE4 is way more than enough of a word to do a search on - either here or on Google. |

Just wondering when you reissue a DONE4 will the ticket validity date also change?

In addition, you may technically be liable for the sum of the highest one-way fares between the destinations already flown, less the sum you paid for the DONE4.This recent thread discusses a similar, though not identical situation.
I've never let a xONEx lapse yet in this way, nor do I remember seeing any reports of an airline actually trying to charge for the difference, but it may be worth bearing in mind that there is a risk. |
