Which FFP to put miles on?

Here's my LONE4 flight itinerary from March to August next year. My goal is to use these miles for future travel to South Africa. Going by this table AA is the worst in accumulating miles which contradicts the general consensus here on FT. Should I still go with AAdvantage since I base in the US?

ARN-LHR (BA)
AMM-LHR (RJ)
LHR-DAR (BA)
DAR-LHR (BA)
LHR-ISB (BA)
BOM-BKK (CX)
PEK-HKG (CX)
HKG-ICN (CX)
ICN-KIX (JL)
NRT-JFK (JL)
JFK-GRU (JL)
GRU-SCL (LA)
SCL-IPC (LA)
IPC-SCL (LA)
SCL-MAD (IB)
MAD-ARN (IB)

AA is not the worst. BA is !! On AA you will earn status bonus miles on most of the OW partners. All other OW airlines have no status bonus (CX) or only 1 or 2 airlines. Also consider the earn/redeem mileage ratio. In that regard AA is very competitive. The conditions for redeeming miles on AA is the most generous.

I don't think the OP has status nor will it be gained on an LONE4 with no AA segments.

However it's correct that BA is in general the worst of the lot, offering 25% miles on "L" class bookings network-wide. AA gives 100% miles on AA, RJ and LA segments, 70% on JL, 30% on IB, 25% on BA, and zilch on CX. I'd have to do the math to see how the result would stack up for the OP, but the route shown is not a valid xONEx itinerary, so once it's refined it will be easier to total up.

As for status bonuses, unfortunately you don't get AA status bonus miles for JL, nor, as of next April, BA. And as far as CX is concerned, any status bonus for L class miles will also be zilch.

Gardyloo's excellent table of L class earn referenced against FF program and Carrier is of great help, but thinks keep changing. e.g. Updates for RJ & JL ( & KA?).

(Needs updating for RJ & JL)

And MA...

I started to pull data from RJ today but am flummoxed by their cr@p website. It appears they use a points system like some others, so not sure it will be of much help. Maybe I'll find time over the midwinter days ahead (up here, not like down there :( ) to work on it. The OP referenced the table in the first post.

Gardyloo is correct, I don't have any status with AA. My main focus is to get the most miles possible for future redemption. The itinerary shown are broken down segments as showned on AA site, discarding transferring stops. Here's the complete list:

ARN-LHR//AMM-xLHR-DAR-xLHR-ISB//BOM-BKK//PEK-HKG-ICN-KIX//NRT-GRU-xSCL-IPC-SCL-xMAD-ARN

(Oops, miss the ARN flight at the end there)

If you credit your flights to AAdvantage I suggest you consider flying SCL-MAD on LA, not IB.
