SFO Int'l Lounge

Is the BA Terrace the only lounge available @ SFO's Int'l Terminal? Do CX and QF also use this lounge?

There is also JL's Sakura lounge. CX used to use that about two years ago before switching to BA Terrace. Both JL and BA lounges are in Concourse A. However, that does not mean that you can switch between lounges. Each lounge has its own operating hours.

Qantas also uses the BA lounge. I have photos of this very lounge linked below.

You were able to take pictures when it was almost empty! When I flew on CX873, it was normally quite crowded (it wasn't like that a few years ago). The pictures were on the J side. The F room is not much better (and is actually much smaller), but it has a view of the outside and is less crowded.

Last time I was on the F side there was someone sleeping on a sofa, and the other seats were all occupied-- a little too crowded for me. I bailed out and made myself at home on the business side instead (the ethernet ports at the workstations there make that easy, and I bring my own cable along).

Yea, there is no workstation, and there is no free internet access in the F room. At least J is quite empty. For CX873, the reverse is true - J crowded and F 1/3 full at best.

I know people like to relax in F, but taking up a sofa seems to be quite inconsiderate.

6 mths ago, QF F pax used the BA lounge while Biz passengers were forced to slum it in the JL lounge. Those who tried go get into the BA lounge were turned away.

I never flew QF x-SFO. Technically, the BA lounge should not turn J passengers away because there are a F room and a J side, unless there is capacity control (e.g. a lot of OW EMs and the BA F room is really, really small) or if QF wanted that way for a reason for passengers on their flights.
