Quick question re. transit without stopover in Asia rule on oneworld Explorers

Hello all -
Apologies if this has been posted already. I tried doing a search, but to no avail. I have a partly used oneworld Explorer 5 continent ticket. I have used SYD-LHR (note: no stopover in Asia at this point)
and have unused coupons for travel as follows:
LHR-LAX-SJO-DFW-SCL-LAX (transit without stopover) -SYD

I am trying to change the dates of my return to SYD and am having a devil of a time finding availability for LAX-SYD in January - not a big surprise considering how close it it! However, I am wondering if would be possible for me to use the rule permitting one to travel through Asia twice if one is a transit without a stopover between SW Pacific and Europe. My outbound flight to Europe was on a direct QF flight that transited in SIN, but same flight number and no stopover taken in Asia. So, could I fly SCL-LAX (transit without stopover) - HKG -SYD where there seems to be ample availability?

Thanks for any and all help!

The rule is listed in several versions, this one is off the oneworld site:

4. FLIGHT APPLICATION/ROUTINGS
Fares only apply on any AA/AY/BA/CX/EG/IB/JC/JL/JO/LA/LP/MA/NU/QF/RJ/XL/4M flight.
  1. Travel must be via the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans and only one crossing of each ocean is permitted.
  2. Travel must be in a continuous forward direction between TC1 - TC2 - TC3. Backtracking within a continent is permitted except as follows:
Backtracking between Hawaii and the Continental USA/Canada is not permitted.
  3. Only one intercontinental departure and one intercontinental arrival permitted in each continent except as follows:
    1. Two permitted in North America. when one is a transfer without stopover.
    2. Two permitted in Asia when one is a transfer without stopover or on direct single plane service between the Southwest Pacific and Europe.

You have already used the "... one is a transfer without stopover or on direct single plane service" part of the rules, so if you have not yet otherwise visited Asia you should be fine.

Note that you require an additional segment to return to Oz via Asia- if you already had maxed at the 20 limit originally you may have a problem.

What serfty said, plus a note: you will need to have the ticket reissued.
