good oneworld routing NRT-CPT

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced oneway trip in Y (bad company policy) NRT-CPT preference of course is oneworld. From what I understood from a few fellow co-workers - they haven't found any. Maybe the wise forum can help me here.

NRT-HKG-JNB-CPT on CX.

Check with your LOCAL ie Japanese TA in JAPAN for fares.

Thanks,
But I don't have a local TA :)
I need to make a triangle in two weeks LHR-NRT-CPT-LHR, but from CX website a single oneway trip looks ridiculously expensive.

One-way fares usually are like that. For example, NRT-CPT on Thai is about USD5000 one-way, around USD1700 return.

I'm confused at this statement in conjunction with the OP. If you need a triangular routing use a LONEWC3 ticket for the whole itinerary. (Apologies in advance if I'm missing the point here.)

Our Travel Assistant is just plainly too ignorant to know and understand the concept. And I don't have the patience to explain her calmly and quietly what it is :(

I'm kind of confused myself; post #1 talks about NRT-CPT only, post #3 extends this to LHR... which one is it?

I expect the trip is LHR-NRT-CPT-LHR, and the OP is looking for tips about the NRT-CPT part. However, if a LONEWC3 is too complicated, I expect the only reasonable option will be LHR-NRT-LHR-CPT-LHR.

Well I can fully sympathise with that! (Witness my rantings elsewhere on this board over my experiences with a witless TA.) But, assuming you want the triangular routing and are forced to deal with an in-house TA, can't you just say to her: "Please book me in L class on the following itinerary LHR-NRT-xHKG-xJNB-CPT-LHR using only JL, CX and BA. The fare basis is LONEWC3 and the fare is GBP1179 (1289 in high season) before taxes. The BA/CX/JL reservations desk will assist you if you are having problems."

The last statement is more a hope than a promise (at least for CX in JNB) but at least it should get her to start going in the right direction.
