Finally started DONE4!
 

Yes, I have finally started the DONE4 I have been planning for so long. Thanks to all here for their help with routings and flight information.

It was really easy to pick up the paper tickets at NRT. The AA desk had the tickets waiting for us there when they opened the desk in the morning. the biggest issue was finding the jumbo stapler to put the 6 books of ticket coupons per person together! The whole transaction, including checking each of the handwritten tickets took less than 30 minutes, with a very friendly AA agent.

I will be putting together a trip report shortly, but the route as covered so far has been-

NRTXHKG-JFK-SFOXDFW-DCAXDFW-YULXLHR

I am in the BA lounge in T1 at the moment, waiting for the flight to IST.

The rest of the trip to come is

ISTxLHR-DXB-LHR( side trip to CDG)xHKG-MEL//ADL-PER-BNE-MEL//SYD-BOM//DEL-HKG-NRT.

Hi There,

I want to check and see how much is the taxes, fuel surcharges you paid. I know routings can be different, but when you max out the 20 segments, generally you will pay around the same (assuming you will past through LHR at least twice)

Currently I am planning to issue a DONE4 with CX as the MPO can change the reservations efficiently. I want to compare the tax difference between CX and AA

Enjoy! I am currently on my 7th DONE04 (finish 1, start another) and it is a thrilling way to travel at times. And the mileage accrual to your AAdvantage account is nice, too.
