American Airlines Availability
 

Hi all

I am currently checking availability for a DONE4.

I have checked using KVS Lite availability tool and a public class availability tool.

I can not see any availabilities on American Airlines in any class for various destinations worldwide eg NRT-LAX and JFK-LHR and throughout the USA for dates from now to early April 2008.

My agent also cant see availabity TUS-ORD-SEA in early 2008.

Does anyone have a reason for this anomaly please or is this noraml for AA.

Any help appreciated.

I used Expertflyer and NRT-LAX and JFK-LHR looks wide open in D. For AA domestic flight you need to search for A and not D.

As the KVS tool is reporting no availability for flights in March 2008 in any class it is clearly giving wrong results.

Clearly false information, as stated already by milliomiler. Your travel agent should be seeing the real info, though. For the American flight 268 SEA-JFK on Sep 20th the real fare class availability is as follows at the moment:

F7 A6 P3 Y7 B7 H7 K7 M7 L7 W7 V7 G7 S7 N7 Q0 O0

So plenty on DONEx space on that particular tube.

KVS is obviosuly experiencing Technical Difficulties.

As mentioned in the KVS Tool FAQ, AA availability cannot be seen using the LITE Version and the [Apollo: ITN] Method. One needs to use the [Sabre: ITN] option, which will then yield the correct results, e.g.:
