xONE4 Query
I have been trying to find the answer to this and would like the collective wisdom of the forum to help out here.
Departing SWP-SAM-EUR-ASA-SWP. Is this considered a xONE4 or xONE5? The AA RTW Desk has told me (rightly or wrongly) that the xONEx as a minimun is a xONE3 which counts NAM/EUR/ASA. I understand that starting in SWP is a xONE4, but AA RTW Desk are saying that because I am going to SAM, then it is a xONE5. More to the point, which is which in terms of xONEx? Itinery 1: MEL-LAX-LIM-SCL-GIG-JFK-LHR-HKG-MEL Itinery 2: MEL-AKL-SCL-GIG-LHR-HKG-MEL |

Is Itinery 1 a xONE5 even if the NAM ports are transits?

You need to have a minimum of 3 continents, and due to the OW network, IF you have a xONE3 they must be Europe, North America and Asia. There is no other combination of 3 continents that are possible.
If you have a xONE4 then there are a few different combinations of continents that are possible. It is quite possible to have a xONEx that does not include all 3 of North America, Europe and Asia. |
