A bit confoosed here - LEN is Leon, which is a lot less than 2958 miles. Longest IB Europe segment I can find is MAD-TLV at 2207, then MAD-DME at 2140. Still, without the LHR-long Europe restriction, a couple of RTs to TLV or CAI/DME can get you within 1500 mi or so of LHR-MCT-LHR-IST-LHR. Not that European J on IB is all that swell, but IMO not a deal breaker.

I copied LEN over from the oneworld validator without checking what it was, as I assumed it to be St. Petersburg. Mea culpa.

I guess I could do TLV and CAI (both places I have been wanting to visit) from MAD, but on an AONEx it would be a bit of a waste. On a DONEx it means giving up Club World on one sector.

Indeed. :td:

Doesn't LA have F on their FRA-MAD-SCL flights? I think JL has F on their CDG and FRA flights as well, but I am not familiar with the differences in JL F products.

I don't think you can do TLV and CAI starting from MAD,

Edit: I mean not without giving up more than one CW sector.

Yes.

OT, since LAN flies SCL-FRA, I wonder why we're allowed to re-enter NA en-route to Europe.

I don't understand your point here.
