RTW routing, help required if this is legit.
Hey,
Im planning a RTW flight in december/jan, problem is the routing surprise surprise. I want to go in this order, well I need to. JNB-LHR-(Can I put in cdg-lhr)- JFK-Boston-, then need to find my way across to San Francisco and LA, down to sydney, now here is another problem, there is only 1, OneWorld flight to JNB from sydney, but I want to go around aus, to melbourne, perth, adelaide maybe buy a brisbane ticket. Can I go syd-merlbourne-perth-adelaide-syd-jnb or am I now doubling back? JNB-LHR-CDG-LHR-JFK-Boston-San Francisco-LAX-SYD-Melbourne-Perth-Adelaide-SYD-JNB. If I flew lax-melbourne then around aus then syd-jnb is that alright? Calling BA here isn't helpful they all shrug their shoulders. |
There's nothing wrong with
JNB-LHR-CDG-LHR-JFK-BOS-SFO-LAX-SYD-MEL-PER-ADL-SYD-JNB as an xONE4 except that you have 20 segments to use and JFK-BOS, SFO-LAX, SYD-MEL, aren't particularly good uses of segments (particularly if in D or A). |

Thank you very much yeah its a DONE4.
Done it twice before but on saa and united, many years ago. 4 years ago and like 12 years ago. That was the parents doing the routing. The JFK-BOS etc are functional, im going to JFK with MS. (not Mrs.) Gooner505 and then up to Boston for family Christmas. Thanks for the help. |
