Aer Lingus leaves as JAL, RJ, and Malev join
#16
I got this message in an e-mail from BA today:
Upcoming oneworld™ alliance change reminder
On April 1, 2007, Aer Lingus will end its six-year partnership with the oneworld alliance. Through March 31, 2007, you will still be able to earn BA Miles and book reward flights with your BA Miles on Aer Lingus. British Airways is currently exploring a frequent flyer partnership with Aer Lingus beyond April 1, and will announce details if and when agreements are reached. Three new airlines - Japan Airlines, Malév Hungarian and Royal Jordinian - will be joining oneworld on or before April 1, increasing the alliance's capacity by more than 20 percent and its network by nearly 100 destinations.
