Cancellation policy
 

Hi Frequent flyers , wherever you are in the world.
My question concerns group bookings by a tour company.
I am currently in Peru , and the tour company I was with said that Lan peru had cancelled a flight from Arequipa to Cuzco, and that it was not possible to fly the whole group to Cuzco until the Sunday , a day after . which would have meant that we would have missed the Inca trail. However on looking on the Lan website , there was plenty of flights to Cuzco via Lima.
When I spoke with the Tour Leader, he said that Lan would charge an extra $70:00 dollars to go via Lima. I find this strange since it is apart of OW, however there is more, the tour company also said that they would have to pay Lan a 10% cancellation fee - very strange?

The cancelled flight was LP115 , which was on saturday 29th of July
