Circle Pacific Question

I am considering the following itinerary

LAX-(BNE)-CNS-SYD-SIN-HKG-LAX on a D class Circle Pacific Fare.

The problem is that according to Flying Fish that is 22001 miles. Would I need to go up to the 26K product for 1 mile, or is there a grace? Also, I am assuming that LAX-CNS mileage is calculated with the stop in BNE. Is that correct?

Many thanks for your help!
Greg

I think AA's calculation of the total mileage will be less than 22000.

Great Circle Mapper comes up with 22000 exactly. You are probably OK, just call the AA RTW desk and have them enter the itinerary and give you an answer - it's a quick and easy process.

Yes.

AA will calculate your total as 21,994 miles.

Tools such as GCM and Flying Fish are good for giving an indication but are not the final word. The airline's mileage is what counts and this can be a little more or less than these tools.

Where there is a mileage limit there usually is no grace overallowance given.

I used the Sabre CRS. So AA's calculation will be identical to the above mileage.

So Greg, did AA agree with the calculations above?
