Of Qantas flights, only QF175 is scheduled to arrive into TBIT. This is according to this web page: http://www.qantas.com.au/info/flying...rportGuide/lax
All others are scheduled to arrive at T4 ...
It's a different story in regard to departures where only Qantas flights to SYD and JFK depart T4, the others employ TBIT.

A post today on QF forum quoting Qantas refers to TBIT LAX OW lounge opening end October. Looks like I will get some more visits to interim lounge (I was also there on the first day it opened).

Er, in fact no - you have no idea. From CXAgents:
Special arrangement for Los Angeles International Terminal
Due to heavy congestion caused by terminal construction at Los Angeles
International Terminal (TBIT), starting from 24th September 2007, passengers
arriving from either CX884 or CX882 will be required to clear Customs and
Immigration at the American Airline Terminal in T4.
Departures and check-in counters will remain unchanged at Los Angeles
International Terminal.

I wasn't aware of this recent change - apologies. Though I hardly think "I have no idea" about my home airport, and in fact prior to this recent change my statement was true. And it wouldn't be the first time I was asked a question at LAX by a member of the public with no idea and sometimes in the wrong terminal. LAx is not particularly user friendly as a general rule.

That'll be for the "important" people who can't be seen in a J lounge. Why would they stop F pax from going to the J lounge if they wanted?
