Global Explorer change of carrier but not route
 

I'm soon flying on a "global explorer" rtw ticket as below:

Are the fare rules similar to the ow explorer and is it possible to change both carriers and flights but not the route?

e.g. Instead of flying LHR-ORD on AA0047 today and subject to availability I wanted to change to fly tomorrow on BA0299 - is this possible and if so is there a cost associated with making the change. It seems ok but wanted to ask the gurus out there.

Also has anyone tried this when they've been ticketed on a non one world partner on these tickets such as JAL to change to a one world airline running on the same route.

p.s. i searched for "global explorer" and couldn't find anything specific to this fare. :rolleyes:
