Plenty of comparisons of various F and J products on this board.

But to help out in the meantime ;):

Overall: CX. Service. Wine. Food.
Bed: BA. Prefer it for tall people (me). But CX is comfortable.
Bathroom: QF. Very large. Easy to change into pj.

I say go with CX.

I find the CX bed in F to be much better than the BA bed in F. If you like the BA type of bed, then QF has the next generation of that seat, making for a significantly better F bed than BA currently has. Both QF and CX have a lot better food than BA. The primary BA advantage over CX is the BA Arrivals lounge at LHR (and MB spa upon departure for the LHR-HKG leg). Unlike BA, CX makes its lounges available for BA pax, so doesn't have any advantage over BA (somehow I don't think CX is worried, their F service is so much better than BA that it really isn't a contest).

CX all the way in F. In J, a little more complex.

So BA F pax on HKG-LHR can use The Wing/Pier FC sections? Does BA also have its own F lounge in HKG?

QF passengers coming into LHR (even from HKG) can use the BA Arrival Lounge (MB spa) as part of the JSA so as such there is no advantage going BA for this reason. BA however has better flight times from HKG if you want a night flight. QF flights from the end of March will be day flights arriving into LHR in the afternoon which may not suit all.

Yes - BA and QF have a shared lounge called 'The Hong Kong lounge'. Whilst not as good as the Wing/Pier, its still pretty decent. There is a separate F lounge in the BA/QF lounge which is accessed by going into the J lounge first.

Whatever, I've experienced all three products on countless occasions.

I merely wanted to know the preference of Flyertalk travellers when flying this route. :rolleyes:

Perhaps you'd have got a different reaction if you'd started your post by sharing your considerable experience and hence opinions on choosing between the carriers, and then asking for opinions from others?
