Stopover in BRU - Will bags check through?
Hi,
If I fly from AA JFK-BRU connecting to AA operated by SN Brussels Airlines BRU-FLR, can my bags be checked through and how can I obtain my boarding pass for the second flight? Do I have to claim my bags in BRU and then recheck them somehow for the second flight? How does that work? And regarding the boarding passes, can I get both boarding passes when checking in at JFK or do I have to get the second one in BRU? Thanks, Mike |
Just to be clear, you appear to be describing a transit (< 24 hours) not a stopover (> 24 hours). In this case AA should be able to check your bags through, and should be able to issue the onward BP in JFK, especially since it is an AA codeshare. If not then you will need to go to the transit desk at BRU to get your onward BP (and remember to tell them that you have luggage checked through).
