WestJet...joining oneworld?
 

Has anyone heard anything about WestJet joining oneworld, maybe as an associate member? Maybe WestJet would refill the hole left by Canadian...

This rumor has been floated quite a few times. Westjet has just finished a massive investment in their computer systems ... not OW compatible; so some of that would have to be redone prior to being able to join, even as an associate member. If this was Westjet's plan, it seems rather flawed.
