Need Info on LAN

My apologies in advance if some of this has been answered before... tried a google search of FT and still couldn't get the info I need....

I am considering a trip over the Memorial Day weekend on LAN from LAX to EZE via LIM on the flight down and EZE to LAX via SCL and LIM on the return. Found a deeply discounted RT Q fare at US$644. A couple of questions though:

1) What are the best seats on the A340 and B763 in the economy cabin? Can elites (AA PLT) reserve exit row seats or get them at the counter?

2) Are paid counter upgrades ever offered at LAX or EZE? Any other upgrade opportunities for an AA PLT travelling on a Q fare?

3) Is the Chilean reciprocity fee of US$100 applicable to US passengers transferring at SCL on the return (EZE-SCL-LIM-LAX)? I do not plan on leaving the secure area between flights at SCL. The $100 makes a difference to me, since it effectively makes the fare $744 and I can get a flight on AA for close to that amount.

4) I am an AA AC member... is the AC at SCL in the same area as the arriving/departing LAN flights? Can I use the LAN club?

Many, many, many thanks!!!!

3. Passengers in transit do not pay the reciprocity fee.

4. AA's lounge is located in the general departure area, inside security. I don't know if you are allowed into the LAN lounge just on the strength of your AA AC membership. Edited to add: but, as a PLT, you are welcomed into the LA lounge.
