Do OW emerald and sapphire get the new AA premium boarding passes?
 

There is a quite long thread over on the AAdvantage board
regarding the new boarding procedures for AA Plat and EXPlat members.
Basically premium cabin boards, then those with the specially labeled PLATINUM boarding passes, followed by the economy cabin. With enough separation on domestic to ensure neither of the first two groups are swamped by the following throngs.

The AA thread never answers the question whether the other OW elites
get the same "premium" boarding passes. Any experience?
The answer more or less contributes to the decision to retain AA Plat and
whether try for OW emerald with AA or QF.

Yes. I'm QF Plat == ExecPlat on the boarding pass.

Of course you should be aware that it seems near-mandatory to load the FF# before you check in, otherwise your status for some reason is not reflected on your BP. Only a handful of AAgents seem to know the trick to fixing this problem once it exists, so call AA before you head to the airport...

Yep same here. Flew AA LHR - Boston recently and had "ExecPlatinum" on my boarding pass. Funny thing was that they still announced boarding by groups ... even though no-one had a group number on their boarding pass.
