Ex WAW Possible?

Hi,

Trying to plan a RTW and read all relevant stickys etc. Got a couple of questions though:

1) I just want to do a AONE3 Ex WAW back through LHR to Asia, SWP, South America, then back to LHR. Is that possible or do I have to go for a AONE4?

2) This is my itininary, any ideas? Is it possible?

Ex WAW
LHR PEK
PEK NRT via HKG
NRT SIN via HKG
SIN SYD
SYD CNS
CNS PER
PER MEL
MEL AKL
AKL SCL
SCL IPC
IPC EZE via SCL
EZE CUZ
CUZ LIM
LIM RIO
RIO LHR

I know that I will need an extra segmant in South America but cant find any other way. Dont want to goto LIM but it seems I have to, to get back to RIO.

Any comments welcome, best place to start booking before going to a agent in WAW?

Cheers
Chris

1. Definitely AONE4.

2. You are well over the 20 segment limit anyway, so some of those stops in South America have to go.

As stated above this is an ANOE4 - Europe, Asia, SWP and South America.

I thought PEK-HKG was operated by Dragonair and not CX and therefore not valid for a OWE.

Use the search function to look for CAI or WAW. These are the most practical starting points for Europeans. There are many recent threads on experiences (including mine) of trying to get a ticket issued.

The best method seems to be to get AA RTW Desk to do the reservation set-up and then contact Tal in WAW or Emco in CAI when you want it ticketed.

OW timetable says PEK-HKG is CX.

I'd also mention my positive experience in dealing with BA directly in Istanbul, recorded here: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=390790. Not terribly expensive to get to from London, not in the "middle east" so you can still do the DXB runs etc., and quite nice people, who returned the right price on xONExs quickly. NB I said directly, not through BA's RTW desk in N. America.

PEK-HKG is definetly possible on CX, though KA do have more flight per day.

Basically I want to get to Asia and South America from LHR. So ideally I want a AONE3. I don't think this is possible, anybody got any ideas. Does stopping in AKL for 4 hours count as going to SWP?
Cheers

Not possiible. If you want to include South America (or SWP) on a xONEx, starting from anywhere, it must be a xONE4 or higher. And yes, if you 'touch' a continent, even if it is for one minute only, you have to 'buy' it.
