Where is Bali?!!

I'm planning a RTW trip and had assumed that Bali (DPS) was in Asia. However, the sales agent at BA thought that it was SWP for a RTW ticket.

Any thoughts?
Thanks

Asia

It is Asia. If you look at the oneworld website it shows a map of the world and the 6 continents. Clearly Indonesia (and Bali) is part of Asia.

Bali is the island just east of Java in Indonesia, and it is a Fantastic place to stop if you can. That is Fantastic with a capital F.

However, the rainy season is from November to March, in case your trip is soon.

The Conrad gets my current recommendation for places to stay if you can, FWIW.

It's definately in Asia. A lot of people mistaken it as part of the Austrialia & New Zealand

Geographically, there is no question but that Bali is in Asia.

However, airlines' definitions of regions do not necessarily coincide with traditional geographic boundaries. For example, parts of the Middle East may be in "Airline Europe" even though a geographer would put them in Asia or Africa. You have to follow the list used by the airline in question. Logical reasoning, maps, etc., have absolutely nothing to do with it.
