Stopover options JFK/LAX
 

I have on extra stopover/sector between JFK and LAX and have already used my transcon allotment. I saw a list of possible flights provided by hauteboy but most of the interesting flights such as SJO are no longer available according the the AA schedule for August. I am aware of the obvious DFW, ORD, STL, BNA but wondered if there were some other same plane/same flight number that would offer an interesting stopover?
