if we bypass europe [transit only @ lhr], can we use the segments on another europe trip?

in usa, does D get 1st on 2 class planes?

Once you leave a continent backtracking is generally not allowed, but there are exceptions. If you post your itinerary, and what you would like to do, it would help.

thanks, Viajero.... we haven't decided which way we're going yet...but if we did jnb-lhr x dfw [after starting in aus] thus not ending the trip, & later bought tickets to europe, cuold we use the europe segments then and when we get back, go to aus to finish?

In a word, no.

That you cannot do, unfortunately. All you European travel, if any, must take place before you fly to DFW. The coupons are not independent 'travel vouchers' that can be used at will, or out of sequence.


Open coupons cannot be truly open (blank); they need to show at least a from/to city pair.

Clacko, fully unrelated to your question, but keep in mind that the JNB flight is into Heathrow while the flight to DFW is out of Gatwick.
