Hello team,

Thanks for your help from time to time in getting the RTW ticket. I got a RTW issued from CMB and the taxes for the following iten are to the tune of $700. Just FYI.

CMB/xHKG/LON/DXB/xLON/ATH/xLON/LAX//ORD/SEA/ORD/SLC/ORD/MCO/ORD//JFK/xHKG/BOM/HKG/CMB.

Also after 3 trips to CMB in the past year on my way to India, I got to know some nice TAs and if you need any info on this drop me a line. They accepted the credit card (there are some restrictions though.. You need to be there physically at least the first time) and gave me 7% discount for the DONE3 fare of 415,200 LKR. Hope this helps someone here planning to get DONEs and AONEs from CMB.

How did you get both ATH and DXB on that routing? They should only allow 2 longhauls from LHR.. so be advised if reissuing the ticket they might catch the error.

Good point - that is clearly an error by the issuing office so you have a high risk of problems if you need a reissue.

I remember from previous discussions that LON-ATH does not come under the restricted segments for the xONEx s even though it is one of the long hauls. Infact lon-dxb-lon-ath-lon in considered the longest 4 segments in many discussions. Hope they won't trouble me.
