AONE4 Routing Ex CAI
I'm playing around with some routings for a AONE4 Ex CAI (dont know if i'll ever afford it, but it's fun to plan). Is this a valid routing?
CAI-LHR-SFO-ORD-MCO-BOS-ARU-JFK-LAX-HKG-NRT-HKG-SIN-HKG-MEL-AKL-SYD-PER-MEL-LHR-CAI I've made the assumption (after asking on this board), that the MEL-LHR will be treated as a single sector (even though it's effectively MEL-SIN-LHR). Would this work? |
If for ARU you mean Aruba (AUA) then it looks like a valid itinerary to me.

Yep - I did mean to put AUA (Aruba), instead of ARU - Doh! :)
Thanks for the reply. |
Route OK but stopovers
You may have to watch where you stop/change on the trip. If you were looking for BA status points then we could do a little better I think. Again, you would have to pick your flights to get the real First and not AA business first where possible.
The combination of LAX and MCO looks a bit "Mickey Mouse" to me :D Your routes around Asia and South West Pacific are not optimal coupon use but if you had to do business in that order then OK. However, for fun, there are better ways. You can go into NRT off the US and then down to HKG or TPE from there. You could go SIN-MEL and skip HKG again. You could go HKG to AKL but that is J/Y only and then into Australia if you wanted to save a coupon. So where are you going to go to with all these extra coupons? |
