Can I jam all this into an OW130C?

If I'm reading the rules on the aa.com page about One World distance-based awards, it would appear that this all fits in a OW130C. Am I doing it right?

BOS-LHR-BCN-MUC-LHR-YYZ-ORD-ANC-ORD- IND-MIA-MBJ-JFK-BOS. LHR-BCN, MUC-LHR, LHR-YYZ on BA, BCN-MUC on IB, everything else on AA.

This would be in lieu of a 90k J award BOS-LHR, a 45k domestic F award ORD-ANC, and a 60k open-jaw J award to the Carribbean ORD(IND)-MBJ-BOS.

Not sure about AA's rules (and they do differ sometimes), but most OneWorld airline's OneWorld Awards require the use of a minimu of two airlines other than your home plan airline. So you might need to use BA for the LHR-BCN flight.

Yes--that is how the AA site reads--you must use two OneWorld carriers other than AA--assuming that you are an AA ff member.

I have been looking at a distance based award also, so I am doing the same thing---

Don't forget some flights are seasonal - such as ANC. It stopped operating on 7 September (with me on board - it was absolutely stuffed totally jam packed full).

Looks OK since you have both IB and BA in addition to AA. Just be carefull about the transits thru LHR and ORD. I forget if it is 2 transits and 1 stopover or the reverse. A new wrinkle is that int'l award tickets that don't connect within 6 hours (I think) is considered a stopover now. It used to be less than 24 hours was a transit and not a stopover.

Thanks, everybody!

ORD-ANC does indeed look full for award travel for when I wanted to go next August. I will probably try to figure out a different destination, or just cut out the ANC parts so it fits into the next lower tier of award.
