It would appear as if you learned how to point and click!

Congrats!

As a brand new member, with 14 posts a day-- none containing any actual information or serious questions-- you've picked it up very nicely too.

One suspects that your posts would be taken a bit more seriously if your snide comments were mixed in with something other than misstatements ("Swiss rumored to be leaving One World[sic]," etc.) and a where-do-we-fly list from SkyTeam (a/k/a the K-Mart of airline alliances).

Or, maybe you'd like to tell us about some of SkyTeam's better First Class products, or even the economy products of any of SighTeam's fine carriers. And I'm not sure which group of frequent fliers are the happiest: DL, NW, or CO.

(By the way, just which airline is the 'BA' that you listed as being part of SkyTeam?)

Buh-bye.

We don't just make up airline codes and random facts in this forum. This is a hyper-technical forum w/ FT's most knowledgeable and helpful members. In other words, no place for your airliners.net nonsense and SPAM postings.

Please go away, OK?

I should congratulate you in achieving more posts in a month that I have in a year - though I must echo the sentiments of JonNYC

Since when is BA a part of Skyteam.

FYI No members in the Skyteam can offer an International F Class that can come close to what CX/BA and sometimes even AA can offer!

Also how can I get to AUS with Skyteam?

You mean you don't know for sure? Don't you fly this airline (your profile lists you as an AA flyer, though their program is AAdvantage, not AA Advantage as you list)? If you actually flew AA you would know that not a single MD80 in their fleet has in flight entertainment. I'm getting the impression you don't fly AA. How many miles do you have on AA this year (for me, 99,400 actual flight miles)?

wideman Aug 28, 2004 9:53 am

re tom911:

I believe that AA Advantage is the frequent flier program of Infinity Airlines.

AA Advantage

Can someone tell me what advantage there is to being a member of Alcoholics Anonymous? Is this greater than being a member of Alcoholics Public Loud and Proud?

There was one alcoholic I was glad to take "advantage" of recently...

I think that I have flown on just about every airline mentioned in this thread. I am proud to fly 1W. I hate flying SkintDream members with the exception of CSA and now even KL has fallen into the great French plan. I fly 1W because, although the alliance is a bit of a sham in reality, they are less bad than the others. Star is not too badly organised but oh hell, you end up on Lufthansa at some point in the system. Now you should remember that it is an honour for us to allow you to fly Lufthansa and you should remember that. Sit up, shut up, belt up.

Don't forget the QF flat beds in the BA and CX listing.

turbulence

There seems to be a lot of turbulent hot air in this thread, but the basic fact is that oneworld is in bad need of more partners. So far, I have decided not to defect, but oneworld is certainly looking a lot less attractive now that the other alliances have expanded so much.

Of course this coming from JonNYC .. A member of Flyer Talk that not added much over his past 7.000 postings... He has however, from a research of his Topics started, found a ken interest in trying to drum up his cell phone business and pass off rather common information about American Airlines...

You are dishonest about your own posts.

I see no need to comment about the remainder of your wisdom-filled post: res ipsa loquitur.

What a bizarre effort at a cover-up. You clearly listed BA as a SkyTeam member in your original post.

Back to airliners.net for you soon enough.

Much like the title of this thread, one would have to say "What is going on?".

Do you fly ANY of the multiple airlines whose forums you have posted in the last two weeks since you joined FT, or are you just here to ask questions and make comments about routes and equipment? Are you a frequent flyer, or just a frequent poster?

This whole thing is very, very, very reminiscent of previous teenage "airline buffs" who have posted their theories in the same very arrogant-- but equally obvious-- fashion. I would be stunned if this wasn't a reincarnation of one of those members.

This SMF777 reminds me of that idiot on Infiniteairways.com

"FYI-

Under what basis can you post such rubbish? I am sure there are more substandard airlines in Skyteam then Oneworld!

Swanhunter Aug 30, 2004 2:24 pm

I suppose those sort of daft comments are the small price to pay for the quality information and help elsewhere in FT.

And JonNYC - thanks for the Infinity Airways link. Interesting reading!
