oneworld upgrades?
 
Are there any plans to allow people to upgrade across airlines rather than just the one where the miles are coming from? This would give oneworld a huge advantage over the others.

Very unlikely I would think. Especially given your comment on it being an advantage over the others - OW tends to be more re-active rather than pro-active.

AsiaMiles already offers upgrades on: Aer Lingus, American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific Airways, China Eastern Airlines, Dragonair, Swiss International Air Lines Ltd, Vietnam Airlines

Aadvantage used to offer upgrades on CX but that was taken away last year; so the OW strategy is to eliminate rather than add this benefit.
