hi guys,
i was wondering if anyone can comment on possible routings for the USA segments of my DONE3 -- i'll be flying from ORD, and was wondering what r some of the furthest destinations possible? SJU is 2072miles i believe. anything else? |

Ofcourse if you are not starting in NA, then you have 6 segments and no stopover limit. |
nope, i started in asia :)

My imminent attempt to maximise mileage and avoid hotel cost for NA in one hit is: LHR-ORD-ANC-ORD-LAX-JFK-PHX-JFK-HKG
|
I'm starting my AONE3 tomorrow (well apart from the BKK-HKG already did a few weeks ago). HKG-SFO (stopover) - ORD-ANC (s/o) - DFW-LAX-MIA (s/o) - JFK-LHR and beyond... There may be more efficient ways of using the sectors, but that suits my timetable nicely...

Maximising NA miles
LHR-ORD-ANC-ORD-LAX-JFK-PHX-JFK-HKG 26242 miles
LHR-DFW-ANC-ORD-LAX-JFK-PHX-JFK-HKG 27237 miles LGW-DFW-ANC-ORD-LAX-JFK-PHX-JFK-HKG 27258 miles |
If you are purely after maximum miles flown, and are doing it summer, then how about:
LGW-DFW-ANC-DFW-ANC-DFW-SFO-JFK-HKG = 29,065 miles. Or better if you can start in FRA instead of LGW for 29,437 miles flown. But it might hit the right places you want to go! |
I believe you can only go to ANC once on a ONE ticket.
