Done 4 - Help/Info required

Will need to go to Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore and New York on business soon and will be doing the trip using a Done4. The rest of the trip will be purely a mileage (status) run but I would like a holiday in Hawaii.

Thinking of this routing:

ADL-MEL-AKL-HKG-NRT-HKG-SIN-LHR-MAD-FCO-HEL-LHR-LAX-HNL-SFO-MIA-DFW-BOS-JFK-SYD-ADL

Some queries:

I am not sure if the rules let me do LAX-HNL-SFO

If I can do the LAX-HNL-SFO what would be the remaining maximum status credit route in the USA for my remaining 4 sectors

What is the maximum status credit 4 sector route in Europe - Russia maybe?

I am also trying to minimise my travel time in the sectors that are purely mileage runs - 2 or 3 days.

Thanks in advance

No the rules do not let you backtrack from Hawaii. The only way to go there would be to go Continental USA - Hawaii - Sydney.

The longest mileage runs in Europe are normally reckoned to be LHR-DXB-LHR-IST-LHR. There are threads here on the way to do a same plane turnround in each of these places - do a search.
(I'm not sure how QF mileage credist work, so max mileage may not equate to max credits.)

If "soon" means before October then a mileage run in the US would normally involve ANC. Something like:
LHR-LAX-JFK-PHX-DFW-ANC-DFW-HNL-SYD
might be your best bet.

DFW-ANC and ORD-ANC service is seasonal (for the summer cruise ship tours) and starts June 10, ending mid-September. The AA codeshare on AS is not valid for OWE tickets. ANC is a great place to visit, very spectacular scenery and well worth the trip; also the very best D status run as it books into F so gets 150 SC instead of 100 (making it 50% more than LHR-DXB in D). SFO-BOS also falls into that category. For maximizing QF status credits your best routing is LHR-SFO-BOS-SJU-DFW-ANC-ORD-HNL-SYD giving 720 SC for the US portion (excluding LHR-SFO and HNL-SYD).

Taking Number-6's recommended USA maximizer routing, and noting your oringal request to visit HGK, SIN, NRT and JFK, you should be able to earn about 2000 QF SC's by routing:

ADL-BNE-AKL-HKG-NRT-HKG-SIN-HKG-LHR-DXB-LHR-SFO-BOS-SJU-DFW-ANC-DFW-JFK-SYD-PER-ADL

This is 20 sectors and I make it 2010 QF SC's and 60,513 flown miles. I'd hate to do it in WHY, but in J or F that would be quite a treat.

DFW-ANC is the short seasonal route from 10 June. ORD-ANC runs for longer but certainly doesn't seem to run in the northern winter.

Many B&Bs in Alaska are filling rapidly. I'm in the process of booking several places for their summer and its getting tight already. Many places are email friendly even though credit cards are not part of the deal.
