RTW including DME or SVO
Am looking at doing an ex-CAI RTW as I think its probably still the best place to buy them.
Routing will be as follows in A or D class CAI-LHR-JFK-SFO-LAX-SYD- and its here I want to get from SYD to DME or SVO I guess the normal route would be to come back to LHR and then do LHR-DME return before going back to CAI. The rules say I have 2 free segments within Origin continent and I am assuming that CAI-LHR and then LHR-CAI counts as these 2. The other rule seems to say I can add segments for $200 USD per segment within a continent and therefore I assume I can add LHR-DME return as a side trip for $400 USD in D. This in theory is going backwards but as its within a continent I assume its allowed. Therefore full trip ends up being CAI-LHR-JFK-SFO-LAX-SYD-LHR-DME-LHR-CAI This I figure is a AONE4 or a DONE4 with extra $400 USD for the DME side trip Anyone disagree ?? or have any better ideas of how of may do this. I guess I can get a few more exec points if I split the LHR-SYD as LHR-SIN-SYD Have checked routing throuhg BKK, SIN, HKG, HEL but all involve non oneworld. TIA |

Plenty of options from SYD-SVO via Asia. All using OW
BA,QF to BKK/SIN then AY to HEL-SVO CX: SYD-HKG/PEK AY:HKG/PEK-HEL-SVO Note: AY only have Business. No First. I will leave the rulings part for someone with more knowledge. |
