Partner Earning Advantage
I'm an infrequent Oneworld customer but recently booked a relatively inexpensive (about $275 USD) CX ticket intra-Asia. For the Oneworld experts here, is there an advantage to using AS vs. AA to accrue miles for this itinerary? I have points in both programs -- more in AS, but less than a reward in both. Not sure how partner earnings work on Oneworld, and there's not a ton of self-serve info I can easily find online.

For CX what fare class? [A letter]. Some ~ many low priced CX fares earn nil ~ very little. L is a common low priced fare bucket A broad guide, but check the ffp--> https://www.wheretocredit.com/cathay-pacific-airways https://www.wheretocredit.com/cathay-pacific-airways/l |

Each airline FFP has web links for earnings on partner airlines. With revenue based earning to a ffp's not easy to determine. But for you likely to be fare-distance based.

Are you sure it actually earns anything in AS or AA? What's the actual booking code? Very few CX economy fares earn anything at all with AA, and relatively little with AS or other OW programs (like 25% of distance).

Be careful with wheretocredit.. They aren't updated lately it seems. For example, SAS is still shown as a star alliance partner even though they've moved to skyteam for a while now.
