Collecting TP on China Airlines
 

Hi Folks,

Have an upcoming trip from TPE (Taipei) to KUL. Will be in J.
Just looking at the options - on the Malaysia Airlines website they are offering a China Airlines flight with a good time (MH5601) Will this still earn 140tp even though it is not operated by a one world airline?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

No as China Airlines is not a oneworld airline. Your flight has to be marketed and operated by a oneworld member to earn avios and tier points (apart from on Qantas where it’s a little bit different)

Yes, even if it's a MH flight number. Except as noted earlier for QF, if your flight is marketed by a oneworld member airline then it must also be operated by a oneworld member airline to earn BA tier points.
