USA-Europe-HKG
 

I would like to travel from USA to Europe than to HKG, using oneworld flights (as well as any AS partners)

Ideally, I would travel NYC-AMS-HKG.
It appears I need to book two separate interties to get a cheap economy ticket. (around $1000)

I was going to travel June 12, plus/minus a few days...

When I get to Europe I don't mind driving from CDG, etc.

This isn't a forum for asking for fares. Try the Mileage Run Discussion forum, specially the oneworld thread. $1,000 is probably about as good as you're going to get for a one-way with stopover.

You might want to look at Oneworld hubs in Europe as stopover locations - LHR, MAD, HEL. I'd recommend using ITA Matrix, Google Flights or any OTA to go fare shopping.
