Avoiding the APD at LHR?
 
DONE4 - part of routing is DOH-MAD-CMN-CAI and would like to go CAI-HKG. It appears my only nonstop flight option is via LHR. If I make it a connection (LHR-HKG < 24 hours) will I avoid the APD tax?

I guess my other option would be to do a ground segment to FCO or TLV?
