As an Emerald OW (QR Platinum), I am looking at flying MEL DPS on Jet Star in Economy. Would anyone know:
  • Can I use the First Class Check in area at MEL?
  • Can I access the QF F Lounge at MEL
  • Can I book seats on Jet Star without paying a premium?
  • Will Jet Star give excess luggage allowance, and priority boarding?

there is a benefit for lounge access (only) for QF elites. And that is it

they really are a separate airline and not affiliated with OW in any way
