Any suggestions on the quickest way to get from LAX to Male, Maldives using the One World Alliance?

What have you found when looking?
Just time?
Cost not a consideration?

The Oneworld options are not great.

On the outbound the quickest is LAX-LHR/LGW-MLE on certain days, but obviously suboptimal with the airport change. LAX-DOH-CMB-MLE is a couple of hours slower

On the return MLE-HKG-LAX looks to be fastest

Perhaps look at doing a stopover somewhere (e.g. London, Hong Kong, Doha) to help ease the schedule issues and break up the journey

Best bet is a one-stop through HKG. Next would probably be through LON, but with a LHR-LGW transfer.

I think the best option would be LAX-DOH-MLE on QR - and book into the in-airport hotel for the layover period.
