RTW sale?
 

AA sent an email this morning with the subject "Our round-the-world sale is now on!" and the body is a link to https://rtw.oneworld.com/rtw/ and the body says "Book your adventure by November 30." But there is no info as to what the sale is. Anyone know?

But is for ex USA and sent to AA freq flyers.

Ex US48 and Canada, yes, but specific to LONEx and IONE3 fares, which are RTW and which most people are unfamiliar with.

Given the opportunities to start the RTW flights in countries with substantially less expensive xONEx fares (than in the USA) the only plus is that it advertises the general availability of the product......

Maybe. Given that only a few hard-core travelers understand or are willing to use positioning flights to start travel outside their home area, offering a sale for originating the US48 and Canada seems like a benefit for many who would otherwise find it too difficult.
