Will I get lounge access?
 
Hey. :)

A quick question:
I'm silver with BA.
I'm planning to fly economy with Qantas (where I have no status) within Australia.
I'll credit the flights to my Alaska account (where I have no status).
Will I be granted lounge access based on my BA Silver status?
Qantas said "ask BA". So I did.
BA said "yes", but then changed it to "no".
What's the deal? Will I or will I not get lounge access?
