I for one would be very disappointed if QR left OW. I live in the IAD area and will be traveling to south africa in may 2020. We traveled with them in bus. in sept 2017, Tthey have my=uch better award availability BA.

OW sapphire and emeralds have the same lounge entitlement as QR FFP equivalents. That's all QR is required to offer under the OW agreement.

20 year anniversary, eh? Maybe a 20% off sale on OWE tickets, similar to the 10% off sale we enjoyed on the 10th anniversary?

I'm not entirely sure that's equivalent because BA Gold cannot access the Concorde room either... only those flying in First or with a Concorde Room Card (5,000TPs a year) can.

New website layout, with new benefits etc listed for the future, oneworld branded and managed lounges.... London Heathrow, Frankfurt, Sao Paulo, Beijing listed as first potential locations for these lounges

Nothing really tangible from the announcement. Some fancy new graphics, a new tagline, and a digital make-over. Only real thing being announced was OW designed and managed lounge possibly being rolled out later this year. Lots of alluding to possible new partners or new members...

Time flies - 20 years already. I could remember the day OW was announced. In QF treasury dealing room we were told to watch Reuters and Bloomberg screens for the announcement, by the 3 founding members AA, BA and QF.
