IAD-Saudi & Turkey : Possible on OW?
 

I may have to go to Saudi Arabia and Turkey for biz? Exact Cities are unknown right now. I want to do it and get Elite miles on AA. I'll be in Paid J so I was wondering if this is possible to do on One World and get the miles/Q points to count towards my elite status on my AA account. I'll be AA plat as of next week.

If it is possible.. is it also possible to come home to the states via Asia, Hawaii and the west coast?

You could certainly do something like
IAD-LAX-LHR-IST-LHR-RUH-LHR-HKG-LAX-IAD
on a DONE3. You would still be able to add 4 segments in Asia and 4 in the US if you wanted. You could also maximize mileage by adjusting the routing. No way to go through Hawaii on the way home unless you add Southwest Pacific as a 4th continent and fly SYD-HNL.

The DONE3 from the US will run you about $6600 now; DONE4 $7400. Starting in Canada will run you US$6153 for DONE3 or US$6845 for DONE4.

Without doing a rtw the routing IAD-RUH-LHR-IST-IAD prices with BA in business at $7506 (I just picked some dates in April to get an idea of the price). Routing all the way in BA though won't give you AA miles for the US-LHR flights.

DONE3 is business class 3 continent oneworld explorer. DONE4 is business class 4 continent oneworld explorer. AONE_ is first class explorer fare.
