Experience of rerouting a DGLOB34 in HEL with AY
 

Just wanted to drop a few lines on my experience of changing routes for an issued DGLOB34 ticket (issued by BA in CAI last December). This involved small routing changes and many schedule changes.

I went to AY's Helsinki city office (near the railway station). No problems for changes, but AY demands that they will be given 24 hours in order to re-issue the ticket. Schedule changes can be done at the airport ticket office just before departure (as reported by christep).

AY doesn't seem to be as effective as the other OW airlines for re-issuing, although I understand that they have created this 24 hour rule in order to have enough time to re-write the tickets. I think however that AY would have written the ticket right there if my departure would have been on the same day.
