Global Explorer Fare for sale in Tonga.
 
I walked by a travel agency in Nuku Alofa, Tonga recently. On the window they had advertised a global explorer fare for T2620 or about $1310USD. The agency was Jones Travel. That's all the info I have, maybe someone else could expand on this.

It's in economy. It's the Global Explorer and not the oneWorld Explorer. Business Class is expensive.

The following are fares from TONGO on the GLOBAL EXPLORER. 26=26K, 29=29K, 34=34K miles.

LGLOB26: TOP 2700 / USD 1287
LGLOB29: TOP 3030 / USD 1444
LGLOB34: TOP 3480 / USD 1660

DGLOB34: TOP 8730 / USD 4160
AGLOB34: TOP 10950/ USD 5217

I'm not familiar with all of OW offerings. What is the difference in the 2 explorers and how do the prices compare from doing something similar from NA?

The Global Explorer is mileage based. The Oneworld Explorer is region (continent) based. Both have limits of 20 total segments and tighter limits by continent.

QF markets a codeshare on PH which is valid for GE but not OWE.
